What is Gutenberg and Why Does it Concern Me As A Writer My passion is sharing my knowledge with You the Reader and Empowering You in life or business.

Knowledge is Power and what is more powerful than the written word (Or should I say the typed word. What is more powerful than the written word that is free. Something that every person no matter of race religion or creed can have access to. 

Did I go to school to learn this NO Mostly everything I have learned as far experience in Life comes from making the mistake first before actually getting the point?

I begin my story when I was 15 okay that is too far back when I was 24 when I had my first child. I was a single mother and wanted to provide the best possible future for my child. I wanted my child to be proud of me and in my mind, I always knew that being a waitress and serving other people all the time would not allow my child to look up to me and respect me as a good role model. So I decided to take the long journey of getting the education that I thought I needed to give my child the best possible future. 

I started putting my awareness into education (at the time I really did not know really (what a higher level of awareness was nor did I care, after all, I was still young and did not have a lot of real-life experience.) 

Little did I know that this journey I started in my Life would be the beginning of my thirst for knowledge. I used to read tons of books and was into the fantasy books such The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant is a series of ten high fantasy novels written by American author Stephen R. Donaldson. The series began as a trilogy, entitled The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever. This was followed by another trilogy, The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, and finally a tetralogy, The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.

The main character of the stories surround Thomas Covenant, an embittered and cynical writer, afflicted with leprosy and shunned by society, is fated to become the heroic savior of the Land, an alternate world. In ten novels, published between 1977 and 2013, he struggles against Lord Foul, “the Despiser”, who intends to escape the bondage of the physical universe and wreak revenge upon his arch-enemy, “the Creator”. I read them all.

This I think is what planted the seed for my quest for knowledge and that is how everything started (So what does this have to do with Gutenberg?) Okay stop yelling I will tie to all in together as fast as I can. No need to rush the Story. 

I write because it is natural to me the words flow with each sentence and, yes sometimes I do believe in impossible or unreachable or unattainable but if you were to read the above stories you would too I think. 

Reading Fiction and Fantasy allowed me not to be limited to my view of the world. Where anyone could be and do anything they wanted in their life. I did not find out until recently the real secrets of Life and this existence in this world and how if I would have listened to my inner voice when I was younger I would not have spent the better part of my life unaware the Power of Words.

This brings me to a little bit of wisdom that I would like to share with you the reader. If you take nothing else from this Story at least I know I have shared something useful for your mind. Maybe the seed you need to start to realize you do not need the education to be a writer. All you need is a good story and a way to keep people interested and reading and wanting to know more.The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant

In doing research for my latest videos I discovered the Gutenberg Project, at first I thought it was just another selling tool used by many people as a hook to get you interested in something just so you would buy something else. Wrong Again
