When I first got started with Affiliate Marketing, I had no idea what I was doing. I thought it was as simple as putting some affiliate links into my posts and then the sales would start happening all on their own (I Was Wrong) I have learned a lot since then and I am sharing all my Tips Tricks and Secrets I learned the hard way.
I did not have a budget to work with and being on a pension I soon found out that I had to find more creative ways of putting together all the Key Elements I needed to be successful and also to teach other people to do the same thing. The Channel Changed from Interactive Views to the DIY Affiliate (DIY stands for Do It Yourself)
I started doing tons and tons of research and finding all the Free Online Tools I could use without having to pay for anything until my business started to make money on it’s own.
I had already foundvidIQ and the VidIQ Academy while building my Youtube Channel and it helped me to rank my videos with the Youtube Search Engines,
Now I had to find what was available to build online using the other search engines such as Google and that is when I discovered all the Free OnlineTools that Google had to offer. I already knew about keywords but also discovered the Keyword Toolto use for keywords and keyword phrases. I also discovered Google Trendsand Google Docsand Google Voice Typing and how all of these Free Online Tools could save me Time and Money when growing an Online Presence.
While I was doing this research I was also creating my video step by step tutorials on how to find and use these tools to Grow an Online Presence so now My Channel changed from How to Grow a Youtube Channel and Interactive Views to the DIY Affiliate
So what is it I am telling you the reader? What is my point?
When you are a creator on any platform you need to draw inspiration from your own life experience and put a part of you into your creation.
It does not really matter what Social Media Platform you are on the message stays the same`.
Being consistent and creating good quality content along with relevant and interesting information
It does not matter what You Are Creating, as for example Youtube Thumbnails or Facebook Posts or Instagram Posts or Reddit Posts or as the Title Says Creating a WordPress Post that Converts to Money in your Pocket

When I first started in Affiliate Marketing I started with the Easiest Platforms such as Amazon and Clickbanklike most people do (Why because it seemed to be the easiest) the easiest is not always the best. Some Affiliate Programs will work for some people but not for others. I already had a background in Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing and that did not work out in the Past. (So what was I going to do to make this different and how was I going to build an Affiliate Marketing when I really knew nothing of how to do it.
I am not a Sales Person and I Cannot Sell I thought to myself so What Could I do to Create the Easiest Fastest and Cheapest Path for my audience to follow. (Plus it also had to be step by step easy to understand.
I knew I could build websites and I already belonged to many social media platforms and had a growing Youtube Channel ( I thought to myself it’s not that hard just put links on my websites and share to social media) I was partially right but I have learned a lot since then and that is what I share in my videos and on social media.

The first thing you need to do before you start writing blog posts that contain Affiliate links is to install the free Pretty Links plug-in if you have a WordPress blog.

Pretty Links will let you create a shorter, custom link for all of your Affiliate Links and easily insert them into your blog posts. It can also track how many clicks you get to each link. (Yes it works)
This will save you a ton of time and hassle when inserting affiliate links into your posts. Also, if any of your affiliates links ever change, you will only have to update the link in Pretty Links Plugin and it will update all of the links on your blog! Such a lifesaver.
Use a Title that you Would be Interested in Clicking Into
I hate to use the term “clickbaity” ( but that’s what you should be going for with the title of your affiliate blog posts. You want to use an attention-grabbing headline that makes your reader think, oh, I’ve got to click that post! Oh, I want to know this! What does this mean!
Of course, when they actually do click on your post, you need to make sure you are delivering the promised value of your attention-grabbing title. (So be honest especially if you are doing a review of a product or service. (If you cannot use it or it does not work for you odds are it will be the same for a viewer) If you cannot afford to buy the product do research and use credible information
WRITE A “HOW-TO” DIY (Do It Yourself) TUTORIAL POST
Some of my highest-converting affiliate posts are in the style of a how-to guide.
Example: In this post, I include affiliate links for Hostgator,Invideo, Tailwind, VidIQ, NameCheap my web hosting provider which is Hostgator. When someone clicks through one of my Affiliate Links and Purchases something I earn a commision (at no extra cost to them.)
People searching for how-to guides and tutorials want to learn how to do something, and they are usually ready to take action. My post helps people learn how to do something (Post Affiliate Links) and gives them actionable steps to achieve it.
WRITE A REVIEW POST
Review posts also do very well because people searching for them are typically already interested in buying a product or service and are just one step away from actually making the purchase. (Always be honest and straight forward and give all the important information and then let the person make an informed decision from there)
You can write a review post about almost anything: books, beauty products, software, online courses, emergency survival products just to name a few
If you write a review post for a product, give an honest review. Don’t just go on and on about how wonderful the product is, but explain why you liked it, how it helped you, who it’s good for, the pros and cons of the Product (Give Both Sides)
People are more likely to trust you if you’re honest and real instead of sounding like a walking advertisement for the product! Or A Walking Talking Sales Person.
Create a Listicle in Invideo
A short Scrolling video under 30 seconds featuring the affiliate products is a great way to provide value to your readers while promoting your affiliate links. (Both in products and Programs you use)

EXPLAIN THE BENEFITS
When writing any type of blog post, it’s important that you explain exactly HOW the affiliate product you’re promoting will help your reader.
People want to know what’s in it for them if they decide to purchase your affiliate product.
How you honestly feel and your words are true are very important. Shows you are Not just a Numbers Person (What I mean by that is quantity before quality) Where Numbers Count but People Do Not
This clearly shows the benefit of the product and is more convincing as to why the reader might want to purchase this product too.
SHARE YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Hopefully, as an affiliate, you are promoting a product or service that you have actually used. (I highly recommend that you do!)
Make sure to share your personal experience with the product! Your initial expectations, how they were met, your results with the Merchants products, etc.
Do you usually read a few reviews before you buy a product or service online? Most people do because they want to assure themselves that other people have had a good experience and are happy with it
Sharing your own experience with the product you’re promoting is a good way to build trust and increase conversions.
SHOW PROOF if Possible
Some people are really hard to sell. Just explaining the benefits of a product or sharing your experience with it is not going to be enough to convince them to click on your Affiliate link.
It never hurts to include proof of your results in your blog post. Doing this can help convince a reader who is on the fence to make a purchase!
DON’T BE All About the Sale (People Thoughts and Emotions Count)
When writing posts with affiliate links, make sure you don’t come off as too pushy. “BUY NOW!!!!” and “You NEED this product!!!” Not going to come off too well with your readers.
Instead, focus on writing as if you are speaking to a friend. It builds trust with your readers and helps you establish a connection. It’s much better to build a community with your readers rather than constantly just pushing products on them. Get to Know your Audience Who is Interested in Your Website Blog
INCLUDE A CALL-TO-ACTION
This is a key element that many people sometimes forget in their Affiliate Blog Posts.
A call-to-action is exactly what it sounds like. You are inviting your reader to take the next step — purchasing the product. The best place to include it is at the end of the blog post.
The example I am promoting my Video Ebook in a Post (Product)
The product or service you are promoting in a blog post. A good call-to-action would be: “If you’re ready to take control of your money and empower your life now, grab your copy of this video ebook today!”
You can include your incentive at the end of the post with your call-to-action.
A great way to increase conversions is by offering a freebie to anyone who purchases through your affiliate link. (Check the terms and conditions of your affiliate program first, because some programs may not allow this.)
A Freebie Should by Small and Relevant to the Product being Promoted

The first thing in the video e-book I talk about is how important doing Keyword Research Is. This helps the person to move from jumping right into Affiliate Marketing Choosing a Domain Name without Doing the Research and Puting A Plain Together First( Most Important)
DON’T GO OVERBOARD ON THE LINKS
Try not to put too many affiliate links in your post or it can get crowded and distracting. It’s best to include no more than one per paragraph. or what you feel you need maybe a banner a text link and a button should be okay.Unless you are grouping together Merchants Companies.
Make sure that you DO include your link when you are describing the benefits of the product/sharing proof and again at the end of the post with your call-to-action.
REMEMBER TO DISCLOSE
Finally, it’s extremely important to disclose when you are using affiliate links in a blog post! Disclosure requirements vary from country to country, so make sure to check on your country’s guidelines.
